Q: Which Ford Cable do i need?
Model Year 24.5+ Ford Ranger / Everest with 360-degree cameras → CA26 Hardwire Cable (Blunt Cut Wires under glovebox)
Model Year 2022–24.0 All Ranger / Everest models → CA27 Cluster Plug Cable (behind dash)
Model Year 24.5+ Ford Ranger / Everest without 360-degree cameras → CA27 Cluster Plug Cable (behind dash)
Q: Why are there both plug and hardwire cable options for the same vehicle?
Some Next Gen Rangers and Everests have a trailer camera plug behind the cluster panel, while MY24.5 models with 360-degree cameras are built with blunt cut wires instead. The type of cable you need depends on how your vehicle is wired from factory.
Q: Why does the Ford have 4 wires and your cable only has 3?
Ford’s factory wiring includes two separate grounds along with video and power. Our cable has a single ground wire. During installation, this ground needs to be connected to both ground wires on the Ford side.
Q: Where are the blunt cut wires located?
In MY24.5 onwards models with 360-degree cameras (J3KAH), the auxiliary camera blunt cut wires are taped back against the harness behind the glovebox near the firewall.
The four wires are labelled as:
- AUX_CAMERA VIDEO (+)
- AUX_CAMERA VIDEO (-)
- POWER (+)
- GROUND (-)
Q: What about the plug option?
For other Next Gen Rangers with Sync 4, there is a plug behind the cluster panel for connecting a trailer camera. If your vehicle has this plug, a Ford dealer will need to activate the trailer camera function in the head unit. This plug is also available
Q: Will this work with cab chassis models?
No. Cab chassis variants are not compatible with this integration cable.
Q: How do I access the caravan camera on the screen?
In MY24.5 models with 360-degree cameras, the Aux Camera button should already appear in the camera drop-down menu of the Sync 4 screen. On earlier builds, Ford will need to enable this function using the “Disable/Enable Trailer Parking Aid Camera” tool in FDRS.

Return Policy
Due to the nature of electronics, every item that leaves our warehouse is bench tested to ensure it's in full working order before it reaches you. If you're experiencing issues with your new Polaris product, we're here to help.
Most issues can be resolved quickly by getting in touch with us directly. To help us assist you as efficiently as possible, please do the following before reaching out:
Check for software updates. If your product supports over-the-air updates, please ensure it's running the latest firmware or software version, as this can resolve many common issues.
Record a video of the issue. Send this to us via Facebook, Instagram DM, or email. Seeing the problem first-hand allows us to diagnose it faster and escalate to the manufacturer if needed.
Check your connections and wiring. Ensure all cables, connectors, and mounting points are secure and correctly installed, as loose connections are a common cause of electronic issues.
Note when the issue occurs. Does it happen at startup, after a period of use, or under specific conditions? This information helps us identify the cause much faster.
If any of our suggestions resolve your issue, please let us know as we love to hear it! When we don't hear back from a customer, we assume everything is back in working order. Your feedback also helps us better assist future customers experiencing similar problems.
If we cannot troubleshoot and solve your issue remotely through our support channels, you will need to send the item back to us for assessment. Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense.
